The Governor has released an updated Proclamation 20-19.4 with three changes effective October 16, 2020. These changes are in effect through December 31, 2020:
- Landlord may serve notice to unauthorized occupants (59.12.030(6)).
- Landlord may enforce a rent increase effective January 1, 2021 provided that the rent increase is specified by the terms of the existing lease.
- Landlord may communicate with residents in a "customary and routine" way that was in place prior to the Proclamation issued on March 18 about the following: upcoming rent that is due, notice of community events, new or updates and document a lease violation without threating eviction.
