How The Housing Question Is Answered Directly Impacts Landlords
LEND YOUR VOICE AND SUPPORT TO AN ISSUE IN OUR OWN "BACKYARD"
Strengthen Tenant-Landlord Relations
When tenants are doing well, landlords are doing well. Programs that provide critical rent support keep families off the streets & save you costly, time-consuming evictions.
Push Back Against Rent Control
The proof is in the pudding. Where rent control has been implemented, it has largely failed. There are better ways to provide housing to those in need of a chance.
What Happens Now Effects Your Future
It's not a matter of "if", but of "when" legislative changes will happen. Don't let others decide for you. Lend your voice and support now in order to guide the conversation.
All funds raised are distributed based on need to our list of organizations.

Started in 2017, Next Chapter is an organization committed to providing housing and critical life changing services to pregnant women, single mothers and their children in our community who are experiencing homelessness.
Finding housing is only the first step in the transition from homelessness. From securing furniture to enrolling kids in school, from finding employment to establishing credit, our mothers face obstacles every step of the way.
To counter these for the long term, we embrace, educate, and empower our mothers to address their barriers to housing head on and build a life of self-sufficiency.
We help them identify and navigate their way back up through accountability and action. We provide the tools and they own it.
St. Vincent de Paul
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
St. Vincent de Paul of Tacoma-Pierce County is a local, non-profit organization, serving people in need since 1926. We welcome everyone, with compassion, without judgment and a deep regard for our shared humanity.
Many people know us for our thrift stores, but our mission is much broader: We help people struggling to pay for basic needs like rent and utilities, by providing direct financial assistance.
We help families and seniors stay in their homes, preventing homelessness. We provide clothing and household goods for people making a fresh start. We hire people to work in our thrift stores, many of whom are re-entering the workforce following personal crises.
In 2018, we provided more than $430,000 in direct financial assistance to more than 18,000 individuals and families in our community. Donations and proceeds from our two thrift stores in South Tacoma and Summit go directly to support help our neighbors in need.
