From the Governor's office: Property Managers are Essential

From the Governor's office:

Property management does have a number of components that may be designated as “essential.” Helping to address emergency damage repair, spoliation, or unsafe conditions is essential. Ensuring that lease start and end dates are met is likewise essential. In-person meetings with customers are prohibited, except when necessary to view a property or sign documents. Viewings, inspections, and final walk-throughs shall be arranged by appointment and limited to no more than two people on site at any one time. In no case, should more than two people from separate households be at a property at any one time, and all activity that can be facilitated remotely should. Any in-person meeting must follow the social distancing and sanitation measures described in the proclamation. Open houses are strictly prohibited.

Please also know that you may continue to perform minimum basic operations to a) maintain the value of your inventory, b) preserve the condition of your premises and equipment, c) ensure security, d) process payroll and employee benefits, e) facilitate employees of the business being able to continue to work remotely from their residences, and f) conduct related functions. Any minimum basic operation must still adhere to the guidelines around social distancing and sanitation referenced in Proclamation 20-25 or any subsequent proclamation related to essential businesses.
